PTFE

PTFE is the abbreviation of Polytetrafluoroethylene, a synthetic product with numerous applications. It is a fluorocarbon solid, with one of the lowest coefficients of friction among solids. Therefore, it is often used as a special coating on for example conveyor belts. The PTFE coating will ensure a smooth process.

Hardick is a specialist in anything Polytetrafluoroethylene-related. We have been working in this field since the 60s and provide PTFE welding equipment, which you can use to weld our Polytetrafluoroethylene coated conveyor belts onto your own machines, but we also offer coated conveyor belts, PTFE fabric and PTFE sealing belts.

PTFE fabric

Hardick is a supplier of different products, such as PTFE fabric. Polytetrafluoroethylene fabric is available in various thicknesses and design. We supply from stock, in any size. Our fabrics are available in any length and almost any desired width. The available width depends on the quality and ranges from 1,500 mm to 4,000 mm.

Standard lengths for Polytetrafluoroethylene fabric are 30 m and 50 m., and we are even able to produce fabric of up to 500 m without any problems. Hardick also supplies this type of fabric in a variety of self-adhesive versions, which are heat resistant up to 260 degrees Celsius. The silicone adhesive layer is covered with a plastic liner, which makes it easy to process.

Innovative solutions for many applications

The Polytetrafluoroethylene fabric can be used in many ways. Some examples of applications are oven liner, release film for press and curing ovens, heat seal films, packaging, conveyors for various applications and roller coating. Thanks to our efficient production facility, we can make products that meet your standards to a T.

We also provide other related solutions, such as PTFE sealing belts. These belts of laminated Polytetrafluoroethylene glass fabric with a weld ensure that your packaging foil is transported without sticking to the heat source. This can even be used during a continuous sealing process; thanks to the even weld, there will be no leaks.
