INTRODUCTION

Hardick attaches great importance to the privacy of its employees, customers, and other stakeholders. That is why we have established a privacy policy. As a company, we are responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Agreements have been made regarding the handling of personal data of (former) employees and customers. Ensuring privacy and the careful processing of personal data is of the utmost importance. Personal data is therefore handled and secured with care.

Website

When visitors fill out the information form on the website, personal data is collected — including name, email address, and phone number — for the purpose of enabling Hardick to make contact. This personal data is requested with explicit consent. The information provided is only accessible to Hardick employees and is used solely for the aforementioned purpose. It will be deleted once it is no longer necessary.

The Hardick website is protected by an SSL certificate. The same applies to our webshop, where name, email address, phone number, address, and bank account information may be requested with consent. The webshop is also secured with an SSL certificate.

Hardick uses cookies to analyze website usage and visitor behavior. Visitors can choose to refuse cookies via the website.

Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data provided to Hardick may be processed based on established agreements and to fulfill contracts. For employees, this includes data required for proper human resources management. In addition to name and address information, this may include birth dates, citizen service numbers (BSNs), copies of identification documents, phone numbers, email addresses, bank account details, and performance-related information.

For customers, only names, email addresses, and phone numbers are collected. Hardick also has data processing agreements in place with customers and suppliers that define privacy-related arrangements.

Hardick maintains a processing register in which all data processing activities and their corresponding purposes are documented. Associated risks and the measures to mitigate them are also included in this register.

If customers or other data subjects wish to access, amend, or delete their personal data, they may do so by emailing the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Hardick. Individuals have the right to access, correct, limit the processing of, or request the deletion of their data. The editing of personal data is limited by Hardick as much as possible.

Hardick will not share personal data with third parties unless it is necessary to perform our services and agreed upon with the data subject. Only under a judicial order can Hardick be legally required to provide personal data.

If stakeholders have concerns or complaints about the processing of personal data, they may contact Hardick’s DPO via email at privacy@hardick.nl or by phone at +31 (0)53 435 3235. Under privacy law, individuals also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
