Seal and cutting wires
Our seal and cutting wires come in every requested size. These wires are used for sealing and cutting of plastic films and wrappers.
The wires, or heat sealer elements have a specific resistance that generates heat when a current is applied. As a result, they can quickly heat up to temperatures suitable for melting or cutting materials. The wires can be fitted with tinned or silvered ends to prevent premature burnout of the wire. It is also possible to provide the sealing and cutting wires with a PTFE coating to prevent the packaging from sticking to the wires.
Heat sealer elements
When selecting sealing and cutting wires, it is important to pay attention to various factors. The thickness and length of the wire play a crucial role, as they affect the electrical resistance and thus the heating temperature. Additionally, the maximum temperature that the wire can withstand must align with the specific application.
For optimal performance and lifespan, regular maintenance is essential. Timely inspection and replacement of wires help prevent wear and breakage. Furthermore, good insulation is necessary to minimize both electrical and thermal risks. Sealing and cutting wires thus constitute an indispensable technology in various industries, ranging from packaging to electronics and food processing to plastics.
